EXPECTATIONS. WE CERTAINLY DO.
When we began designing roof systems, we found most customers expected the worst of their roofs: Leaks. Burdensome maintenance. Recurring costs. But at Chief Buildings, we’ve worked hard to remove these worries. The result—our advanced standing seam roof series and our through-fastened ribbed roof option. These high-performance solutions provide year-after-year peace of mind. 35 year panel finish warranties mean that you won’t have to worry anout how the roof looks, either. Choosing a Chief Buildings product could be the best decision you make.
Here’s What you Can Expect
WEATHER RESISTANCE
Each and every panel is built to defend against wind, snow, hail, and most importantly… leaks. How do we do it? Part of the secret is the interlocking panel design. Whether you choose a mechanically seamed system or our snap-together option, just know that long lasting performance is never compromised.
RIGID CONSTRUCTION
Available in 22- or 24- gauge steel, our rigid panels are available in lengths exceeding 50′. The 24″ wide panel profiles are built around 3″ tall major ribs that offer some of the best performance characteristics in the industry. Our panels are UL rated and some applications can be designed to meet or exceed Factory Mutual requirements.
ENERGY EFFICIENT
Standing seam roof (SSR) solutions aide in energy savings compared to other roof types. Our roofs are constructed with thermal blocks that stop the conduction of cold/heat, while providing additional space between the panels and the structure below for even more insulation. SSRs are considered solar panel ready, providing a sturdy platform that does not require any penetrations into the roof deck.
ECONOMICAL ADVANTAGES
Here’s the bottom line — A Chief Buildings’ standing seam roof will likely outlast the building’s use and do that with only minor maintenance, such as the periodical removal of debris. Save on expensive repairs when compared to rubber membrane roofs that may only last 5 years before needing extensive and costly maintenance. Invest up front, reap the benefits later.
