Chief Changes Its Name

Chief Changes name from Big Chief of Nebraska, Inc. to Chief Industries, Incorporated.

Grand Island Contract Carriers originally operated as a private fleet of Chief Industries, and will later become Chief Carriers.

Virg was named Small Businessman of the Year by the regional office of the Small Business Administration in Omaha.

Chief won the Partners in Progress Award from the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce.
